يوصف Ceftonit Forte للحيوانات البقرية لعلاج التهابات الجهاز التنفسي ذات المنشأ البكتيري التي تسببها بكتيريا باستوريلا (مانهيميا) هيموليتيكا (Pasteurella (Mannheimia) haemolytica) والباستوريلا ملتوسيدا (Pasteurella multocida) هيموفيلس سومنوس(Haemophilus somnus)، وكذلك لعلاج النخرية الناجمة عن المغزلية النخرية التي تسببها بكتيريا فوسوباكتريوم نيكروفوروم (Fusobacterium necrophorum) وبورفيروموناس ليفي (Porphyromonas levii) وباكتيرويدس اس بي بي (Bacteroides spp) وبريفوتيلا اس بي بي (.Prevotella spp)، وكذلك لعلاج التهاب بطانة الرحم الحاد الناجم عن بكتيريا الإشريكية القولونية ( Escherichia coli) وأركانوباكتيريوم بيوجينس (Arcanobacterium pyogenes) وفوسوباكتريوم نيكروفوروم (Fusobacterium necrophorum)، بالإضافة إلى الأمراض الأخرى التي تكون مسبباتها الممرضة شديدة التأثر بمستحضر سيفتيوفور.

Contraindications and special instructions:
Individual hypersensitivity of animals to β-lactam antibiotics. When used in combination with aminoglycosides and/or loop diuretics, especially with existing renal dysfunction, there may be an increased risk of nephrotoxicity. Avoid simultaneous use with tetracyclines and amphenicols is unacceptable, since a significant drop, up to complete loss, of their antimicrobial activity is possible.
